It's on SSN that we're close to a deal for Traore on loan for the season. That'd be the two fullbacks sorted, just a central defender and we're looking competitive... Anything else and we're laughing...
I think we're looking at Tuesday and Wednesday for new signings now. Today is match day. Tomorrow is Sunday and a day of rest(!) then it's Bank Holiday. Looking forward to Tuesday.
I don't think agents will be resting or taking Monday off with huge payments to be had. I'm sure negotiations will be ongoing right through 'til signings are all done!!
There'll be no rest with the window closing on Wednesday and internationals intruding on the programme, don't be surprised to hear announcements over the holiday weekend...
It makes me laugh, I think Warnock is getting carried away with his new found wealth, or he's trying his luck with Amit and Tony. When the take over went through he was talking about bringing in 4-5 players, he's now signed 2 yet he's still talking about another 4-5 players. Maybe his budget is larger than touted in the press, or the fact that he got Barton on a free that didn't affect his kitty. I'm sure wages will be separate anyway. But he certainly seems like a man on a mission and enjoying every minute, and so he should.
Wait, is that our Traore? Armand? We only have 2 left backs (Gibbs and him), I don't understand why we'd be loaning him out when our squad is so thin.
