From the Official """" 16:00 7th March 2016 by @QPRFC QPR Under-21s suffer defeat in south London ... QPR Under-21s lose 2-0 at Charlton Athletic on Monday Joe Lumley saves penalty either side of two first-half goals Armand Traore lasts 69 minutes on his comeback JOE Lumley’s penalty save couldn’t prevent QPR Under-21s tasting defeat to table-topping Charlton Athletic on Monday afternoon. Two first-half goals in south London did the damage for Paul Hall’s side, which included Armand Traore – who lasted 69 minutes on his return from injury. Lumley was called upon early on at the VCD Sports Club, saving well from Josh Umerah. He was beaten three minutes later, however. Joe Aribo beat the R’s offside trap before burying his shot underneath Lumley to give Charlton the lead. The Addicks looked like adding a second when they were awarded a penalty on 14 minutes, but Regal Charles-Cook’s firmly struck spot-kick was tipped away by Lumley low down to his right. Lumley was helpless five minutes before the break, though. After Umerah’s shot was blocked, Charles-Cook this time gave the goalkeeper no chance with the rebound. Tom Rosenthal was introduced at the re-start and almost made an instant impact. The midfielder reacted quickest after Olamide Shodipo’s cross was spilled, but his effort was blocked. Ryan Manning – whose free-kick earned Rangers a point at Millwall last time out – almost repeated the feat, but his latest one flew just over. Shodipo came closest to a consolation late on but his effort was gathered as the hosts held firm for all three points. QPR: Lumley, Matthews, Traore (Lobjoit 69), Pino (Rosenthal 46), Arthur, Wise, Prohouly, Manning, N’Guessan, Corkery (Butler 69), Shodipo. Subs (not used): Brzozowski. Celta Vigo midfielder Pino, who is on the trial with the R’s, was substituted at half-time. Charlton won the match 2-0. Joe Aribo opened the scoring and Josh Umerah netted shortly after having a penalty saved by Joe Lumley. West London Sport recently revealed that Pino, 19, was training with Rangers and would play in two Under-21 matches. He subsequently featured in a game against Millwall last week. Celta Vigo announced last month that the Spain Under-19 international had joined QPR on a six-month deal. The La Liga club previously announced he had moved to Swindon Town, where he also trained but did not sign. Traore, meanwhile, has not played a first-team match this season – and has played just one game for Rangers in more than a year. """"
"Traore, meanwhile, has not played a first-team match this season – and has played just one game for Rangers in more than a year." Well, l hope the club had the decency to offer him a Tour guide. The poor lad, if unattended, could of suffered severe shock at the sight of a dressing dress. Its times like this that we can gauge how far our great club has come in today's society. Footnote - What position does he play ( if at all )?
Let's not be too hard on Mandy Traore. Brain injuries are very difficult to recover from, though he was warned not to play rugby with those 11 year olds.
