Looks like we have got to sell players,if we want new ones,to come in.But who will bye any of our players,there are only about 4 we would get any more for. There is only Shawcross and Huth we could make a profit on. Pulis has spent 84 million,and sold players for 15 million. It does not look good for the future.
Stoke always seem to sell players on cheaply and yet pay over the odds for players coming in (eg Wilson for cash + Kitson and Lawrence). It's no surprise then that there is such a gap between expenditure and income in relation to the playing staff. And what do we have for all that expense - a fairly ordinary team who have not really improved on the previous seasons
So this is the part where we talk about who we would like, who we want rid of and then bugger all happens until the last two hours of the transfer window when we panic buy two more centre backs.
