If we don't go up is it true we may be faced with not being allowed to make any transfers because of our debts?

If so with the loan players going back, and the players out of contract we might not have many players left.

That said it could still be an improvement.

I can't understand why we have spent more money than ever before and are worse than ever before, and no one has been sacked for it?

In all honesty, if we dont go up then thieres unlikely to be any contract extension clauses that may have been written in.

i think Flyer said we would lose about 15 or so loanees and out of contract players.

Looking at the one left, i think it could possibly be the best thing for us. most of our younge decent players are tied up with us i think. get rid of the dead wood and start again.
Would that be such a bad thing?
Im actually (almost) starting to hope we dont go up. If you thought last time was embarrasing, just wait until next season ....

Don't think punishments come into force until next summer, but losing 15 players out of contract is exactly what we need. Time to build a young team, with a FEW older pros with experience.

with redknapp in charge? i just dont see it. Joe Cole and Manuel Rui Costa to come in, both on 9 year deals. Benayoun promoted to captain on an 11 year deal

100% agree. Youthful , hungry talent is what we need. They at least would try to impress.

At the moment, how I feel, I would rather our under 18's all played in the first eleven, if they lost to the likes of Charlton & Brighton we would be more understanding. I'm sure they would at least play for the club and not turn up just to collect huge salaries .

I must be dreaming though if this were to happen.

I agree may be a good thing for you in the long run
It has taken Pearson almost 2 and a half years to get rid of a lot of Svens dead wood and put together a young and exciting squad of players with great desire and heart to play and fight for one another.
As judo said a young squad with a sprinkling of experience is the way to go.
A convincing win v Yeovil on sat will get you back on track.

Looks like we've already starting building ................ we've got the OLD pros! We just need some young guns and plenty of them.
