I suspect that throughout the off season we will all get wind of possible Tranfers and Gossip at The Den.

    Post your gossip here!

I have heard this morning that Steve Morison has request a Transfer away from Millwall With Norwich and Fulham ready to pounce!- if this is True id be disappointed but as long as we get good money i wont be that bothered! i dont think he is a Premiership Quality Striker and we'll spend more time on the bench if he was to move away.

He's on a 2 year contract, signed not long ago. If true KJ doesn't want him for some reason. It certainly won't be for the money.

Were apparently definitely going to get Ched Evans from Sheff U. Martin the regular City Link courier driver to my work building told me but I don't how reliable the information is. <ok>

I think selling moro is probably the only way to get some funds to add to the squad and can see Moro going - esp after the end of season games.

Moro money would no doubt get us 2, 3 possibly 4 good signings knowing Kennys magic at picking players. He probably has them scouted out as we speak <ok>

I wonder what the chances of getting CMS from Peterborough are especially if they don't win the League 1 play-offs.

We apparently had a £1M bid accepted by Posh for him last January but who knows if it was reliable information.

Was that a bid accepted but then they changed their minds or an agreement to sell him at the end of the season if they didn't go up?

Not sure MFC but I definitely remember seeing somewhere during January's transfer window that the bid was accepted.

IIRC it was Millwallinside on 606 but can't be 100% sure - not see anything posted by Millwallinside on 606 for a while now.

If its the latter we will see what happens. <ok>

As a thought if we get CMS, he and Batt should have a head start in developing a good understanding together with the Posh connection as although CMS partnered Aaron McLean in Peterborough's first choice strike force in their back to back promotion seasons, surely Batt & CMS have played together at some point.

Hypothetical on my part of course but we know KJ is interested and he normally gets his man apart from Charlie boy Austin!

If Moro does go I could live with CMS as his replacement as he's a ready made Championship replacement in terms of goals and experience although he only scored 10 Championship goals in 43 appearances but that wasn't a bad return in what was a very poor struggling Championship side in 09/10 that was only heading one way as they were punching well above their weight that season so I could see him getting 20+ for us. He's 27 the same age as Moro although was born 6 months later.

we could do worse than CMS but i think with the money we would get from Morison we could do a lot better <ok>
i think K.J. knows who he wants already and has to be someone he considers to be better than Morison which i think CMS is not ,,,just my opinion mind and of course in K.J. we trust,,,,,,
i think K.J. so far has found some quality players thus far. and mainly without spending any kind of dosh,,,,so with dosh to spend i would expect K.J. to get someone he rates extremely highly and proven at least at this level,,,,,but as said before in K.J.we trust<biggrin>

Looks like we are back in the hunt for Glenn Murray again. Of course if the price is right.

Lol everybody seems decided that Moro is on his way!
Seen Tyson and Vincento (not quite sure, a Daggers Centre Mid who is apparently 'The next Cahill') mentioned in the SLP.

All speculation I know but time will tell as ever. <ok>

I read the Murray story in last Friday's SLP saying that he's been watched several times by Dennis Burnett where he's described as the lower league Berbatov as he's naturally tall so holds the ball up well as well as being good in the air and seems to hang in the air so well. I read somewhere that he wants £10k a week and if that's true would break our wage structure which Kenny wouldn't allow.

Moro's new deal last January supposedly put him on £8k a week making him our highest earner so in Murray's case its probably the old case of a player being instructed by his agent and knowing he won't cost a transfer fee trying to take advantage and getting a good deal for himself which you can't blame him for.

Haven't read anything about Tyson although I know we have been linked to him in the past.

Between the end of the season and beginning of July, most of the transfer gossip and speculation is just that, gossip and speculation. All of the players whose season is now over have gone on holiday, probably to some hot, exotic country. Nothing will be finalised until July, when pre-season training starts.

With regards to CMS, like someone said, if we are to sell on Morison, we can do a lot better than him. we will need, in my opinion, two quality strikers as we were all saying last season we needed one more anyway.

I will await t he middle of July before having a look at our squad list and see who has gone and who has come in. Plus, there is always the end of August rush on deadline day. we wont get a true reflection of the squad we will have until early September.

    <applause>

As much as we appreciate what he's done for us let him go if his heart's not in it and give those hungry for it a chance instead. <ok>

he is a good striker in The Championship but thats because he get give 8 goalscoring chances a game and once every 2 games he scores! in the premiership he will get 1 chance a game and could go months and months without scoring! he isnt good enough!
