Been thinking about this summer and whats available in this country and put together a list of names who i would like to think we could go after. Here goes see what u think.
Brunt, Hoillett, ohara, boyata, reo coker, vela, whickham, macheda, warnock, ba, sturridge (loan) ireland(loan), chamakh.
Thats the calibre of player i would like to think we'd go for in this country without mentioning the usual abroad that we are linked with. What do you think let me know?

In all honesty the standard of the opposition defenders is Bramble class.

Yeah, that's where the quick and agile bit comes in handy.

Brunt - Has a good left foot but hasn't done much this season
Hoillett - Looks good in a crap team
O Hara - We don't need him we already have too many midfielders and i would prefer to use our youth as well
Boyata - Big, strong and fast would be good competition for Simpson
Reo Coker - See O Hara
Vela - Not good enough for the prem, would be better off in Spain or Italy
Whickham - Haven't seen much of him to judge
Macheda - Would like him here
Warnock - hmm maybe but he does have his injury problems though
Ba - Has looked good so far for West Ham
    Sturridge - Yes on loan
    Ireland - Same as above
Chamakh - Utter crap and i knew he would be!

I think chamakh would be fantastic in our team. also hoillett would allow barton to play centrally. I think reo coker could play right back and provide cover for tiote. likewise brunt could provide competition for the flanks and central position. This is all thinking that we are going to go forward playing one striker.

Brunt - If we did a Raylor-Brunt swap deal I would be happy
Hoilett - yes please, been the outstanding player along with Samba in Blackburn team this year.
    Boyata- maybe, good prospect
o'Hara and Reo-coker - nah, not good enough for Europe if that's where we are destined
Ba, Whickan, Sturridge and Chamak - yes please
Ireland was a breathe of fresh air in our team - so yes, but no to Warnock and Macheda

I just like the idea of adding young prospects to our squad. we have to look to take a few gambles to overtake whats in front rather than rely on free transfers and cemented players that why i like whickam at the right price.

He's still young though and from what I've seen from him he's a very strong and solid CB. Watched him when they played Man United at home earlier this season and he had Rooney in his back pocket.

Throw another name into the hat; Kalinic. Sooo underrated. Cheap, low wages, is built for the Prem. The only reason he has a bad record is because he was used as a lump by Fat Sam rather than the class FOOTballer he is
