It looks like Ireland deal is still on going and him along with someone else may be joining either in the next 2 days or on deadline day so interesting times ahead.

Im also getting concerned over the injury that has kept Carroll out. It might be a possibility that he could play some part in the Arsenal game but thats a BIG if.

Why not go for Vela? Thoughts on him

Not thrilled about Ireland, too flaky. Vela would definitely help us. Overall the injury news has not been good lately. We could start to slide down the table with Liverpool and Aston Villa both playing better. Hope we can beat Fulham. They can be tough at home. They play the long game a lot also.

It gets me that Pardew say's 1 possibly 2 players in. Personally i reckon 3-4 especially now that Carrolls out for longer

I think Ireland would be a decent signing especially as if you read reports from Pardew Nolan is shattered!
Haven't really seen enough of Vela apart from how highly he used to be rated on FM
Difficult game next week but they may be tired?

As long as we sign good quality players I'm happy to wait Ireland will be ok and if he's not we can send him back which I why I feel a loan option is sensible but we definitely need a right winger and in the summer cover for jose and a quick, pacy striker.
