Firstly may i congratulate MH and his team, and squad for a good season something
I would not have thought at Christmas.
We have, with a few additions, replacements, the making of a team capable in finishing 2011/12 season in 6/7 position.
Choices Denba Ba: Hitzlsrerger : Parker :all WHU (Parker could be out of our range )
    Kranjkar Spurs: Bentner Arsenal:
And on the final relegation deciders, looking at a couple of the Wigan & Blackpool lads.
Your views please. No Carlton Cole

Demba Ba & Hitzlsperger are options. Ba especially could do a job for us, if he's available for around the £6m mark. Certainly no Cole and I imagine Parker will go to Spurs.

Kranjkar and Bendtner do not fit our team, methinks. I don't like their work ethic; certainly Bendtner will end up at a team like Sunderland or abroad in Serie A.
Wigan have some good players like Ben Watson who would be interesting. Charles N'Zogbia certainly wouldn't fit in.
Blackpool have David Vaughan who I think could fit in well here. Charlie Adam would be an option only if his stock has dropped sufficiently that Liverpool lose interest and the price halves.

Agreed, no Carlton Cole. Or Matthew Upson, or Robert Green. All of them are Championship quality.

N'Zogbia has always looked a player down at the Cottage even when Wigan were playing poorly. Personally I think they'll stay up, but he'd be worth a look at anyway. Any players (I'm thinking of some of the West Ham signees) will need to have realistic wage demands.

N Zogbia would be a terrific signing and would perhaps be a long term replacement for duff. However, I'm not sure if wingers are necessarily the priority in the summer. If we could get either vaughan or perhaps less realistically adam then I'd be happy. Though sidwell has been decent since he came and greening probably put in his best performance in a fulham shirt yesterday, so I do like the depth of our squad right now.

N'Zogbia is definitely a good enough player, but the question is more whether his character fits in. Fulham is a team with out and out "stars" and I don't think we'd be able to fit N'Zogbia in. That said, I think Wigan will stay up anyway.

N'Zogbia would be an amazing signing, but I fear there may be bigger clubs looking at him. James McCarthy or Ben Watson would be appealing to me. Watson came from Crystal Palace I think so is local lad. He is young, has a wicked left foot and a great set play resume. Not sure about Demba Ba, apparently he is one knee injury away from never playing again.

I'm with Froggy I think Ba is an accident waiting to happen. Don't like Parker - I find him too aggressive. Hitzlsberger is a definite possibility - how old is he? Ben Watson I think is a great call - we were rumoured to be a bit interested when he left Palace, but now he;s hadsome premiership experience he would be excellent - a real potential replacement for Danny M.

I don't think Kracjar, Bendtner or N'Zogbia would fit our culture.

    Maybe Reo-Coker or O'Hara ??

Have to agree on Hitzlsberger and O'Hara - Both would suit us. Not sure about Krankjar.
Definately not Carlton Cole and no to Bendtner - Two of the most frustrating players in the Prem.

Bendtner comes with an added cost, they'd have to widen the gate at the Cottage to get his head through I hear.

On the West Ham players I reckon we couldn't afford most of the players wages..... they had the 6th highest wage bill this season! The only two i'd actually want are Hitzelsberger and Parker but I could see Parker going to somebody bigger, at least bigger in terms of wages. I've been saying for a while now we should sign O'Hara. Very good young player who is available at probably a decent price. Would hate to sign Bendtner hes far too lazy. Same goes for Carlton Cole, he'd be an awful signing in my books.

O'Hara does look good. Isn't he still a Spurs player, and if they sign Parker we're in with a shout?

Another thought, Nedem Onuoha was looking great at right back for Sunderland earlier this season. He was, I believe, on loan from Manchester City. If they are looking to move a few players out, we might be able to pick him up at a reasonable price.

O'Hara will join Wolves if we stay up, apparently the deal has already been done on condition we stay in the Premier League, and O'Hara himself has even been saying that it may still go ahead even if Wolves are relegated if Wolves are still willing to pay the money.

Hi Hedgey - yes he seems to have fitted in well at your place. I guess if you went down he might be tempted, but I think it's two of Brum, Blackpool and Wigan to go with WH - so I think you'll stay up.
