Apparently we are doing no business tonight other than bringing in free agent Grandin (ex Blackpool winger who has not played much for over a year) and that can be finalised after the transfer window anyway. I suspect we may pick up a few more free agents this month but I do wonder why we cannot seem to attract decent players who have been playing regularly for their club. I think we are a striker and a left back short and all the fuss about the Cup game must not be allowed to deflect us from the main business of staying in League 1. Southend is a massive game for us - can we string two decent performances together for a change?
