Well, thank goodness that's over. Congratulations are in order to the Club for having the foresight to identify their targets early on in the process, thereby avoiding the mad scramble that always seems to happen as the clock runs down. Just think,it will all be repeated early in the New Year. I wonder who will be scouted/signed in the next window. Can't wait.
Well that was something that Collymore highlighted in that Post article I mentioned, he said that by the time the window closes our new players are already embedded with the team. A very sensible way to do business. The new window will bring in probably new blood, but I don't see us breaking any records to bring someone in. I don't think Jenkins likes the mid season window
I don't know why other clubs don't do the same (i.e do things early). It surely can't be that difficult.
I dont expect much activity in January of bringing in new players tbh. We will probably have enquirers for some of our players but i doubt very much the club will entertain any of them especially if we are in or close to a European place..
No that means the club will listen to offers, and put it to the player, like they did with Bony. We are a selling club just like everyone else
Me!.................And Vetch do you possess a space bar on your keyboard? if you do then please bloody use it, thanks in anticipation of your improved typing.............
The transfer window should close the day before the season starts..It's stupid having the window open after the clubs have done pre season gelling in the new players. It needs to change also scrap the January window also to stop the big clubs buying your best players and possibly ruining any chance of winning anything or getting higher in the table.....you dont need the January window you should be able to finish the season with the players you started with.....
??? The spacings in my posts look similar to everyone else's,so I don't understand your request. Unless of course you never learned the art of reading joined up writing. Now that,I CAN understand.
