It opens in a few days so we know what we need coming in, but it's a difficult one to say who will come in as its likely somebody we wouldn't really consider.

So on that who do you think will go either permanently or out on loan? We've had Tate go and I think will probably stay at Leeds until the end of the season. And we do need people to go before we bring players in. What do you reckon?

    For me these are prime

    Lita
    Gower
    Shechter
    Moore or graham

There's four strikers there. I could only see us selling one.

I don't think shetch will go but im expecting lita to go, Moore i hope we keep as he has done well this season and i feel sorry for Danny who i would let him decide if he wants to be transferred or not. I think now we have laudrup then he should sort himself out and knuckle down and fight for his place...that would be my preference.

I just can't see us keeping lita, why did we sign him god only knows! Gower I like but he's what 34 or so and not a premier league standard player. The other three I can see at least 1 or 2 of them going as well, graham if the price is right.

Graham we should keep until the end of the season as when it comes to striking options we are limited in terms of quality. Be interesting to see if any new strikers come in Jan.

I think that Danny might opt for a transfer when he see's who the striker is that we will get. I wont blame him but i still say if he can work on his finishing then there is a place for him, you cant fault his work rate but you have to be able to finish as well and thats his downfall...

I think that is frustration or a bit of depression on his part....

Cant wait to see who we sign. but there has to be a few we can get off the wage bill.

I have been told that mr aspas was booked into the village. but that has now been cancelled. make of that what you will. How true it is i dont know. but it did come from someone working there.

Seems like there are few rumours around as to who is coming in or going out. I guess everybody has been sworn to secrecy - no surprise really as after the summer transfer bargains there must be clubs looking to gazump us.

Yes but we have an ace in our pockets, laudrup's name will get us players that wouldn't really consider us before.

That and the reason that drove him to it!! Shame but I can't see him getting much game time this season. Agree with Jager on Lita, I think we both where perplexed when we went in for him, don't rate Lita at all. I think Gower is probably looking likely to go, no point him hanging around, we have so many options in the midfield, he's never going to get a chance!.............<ok>

Yeah phil we should have gone for Emnes at that time, Lita is now surplus to requirements and has too much baggage. Though we've gone beyond Emnes as well now and we need somebody far better.

Yes he was definitely my choice at the time, liked the look of him when he came on that short loan spell, think your right, we might well have outgrown him too, though I'd love to see Emnes in the Premiership, I reckon he'd still be better than Moore, Graham, and Lita!...............<ok>

would be nice but for 7.5 million, i think we could potentially find a gem or two. get rid of lita, ship gower out, shekter(however its spelt) needs to go. Need an out and out striker, and would love a defender or two that are over 6"5 to help protect against set pieces. just a thing or two is all i ask for <ok>

could also take razak on loan from man city ?

The price he's going for is within our budget, but his wage demands are huge. He also has health issues that could cut short his career, it could be another Bodde all over again. By the looks of things he will be going to PSG in any case, let them have this headache.

Emnes' fantastic strike to beat the bloobs at Legoland ensures his legendary status with all Swans' supporters.

However,I don't think he is Premier League standard. Regrettable, all the same.

I will be very surprised if new players haven't already have been targetted,fees,etc.agreed.

So there will probably be a flurry of activity early January.

Hopefully, a gem or two,or even three, will be parading their skills in those now famous home and away kits, and The Swans' will soar up the table.

    Well,a man can dream,can't he?

I agree that Emnes isn't quite Premier standard.

My list would look something like this;-

    To go

Tate - can't cut it at this level but still has some good years ahead of him in the Championship/League 1
Gower - I understand there is some interest in him. He probably wants to stay as his family are settled and he has a good contract. If we could ship him out to either Cardiff or one of the Bristols it would be ideal, could offer a sweetener to make it happen.
Lita - got a lot to offer in the Championship and I'm sure there are interested parties.
Possibly Danny Graham (begrudgingly) - but only if the money is right. I still rate the bloke.

    Possible Loans

Jazz - C'mon he's not getting a sniff. If we want him to be a right-back let's loan him to someone who will play him at right-back. Pay them to take him if necessary, with a recall clause
Situ - don't know what's going on here but the reserves won't be doing him much good
    Obeng - ditto
    Proctor - ditto
    Donnelly - ditto
Gwion Edwards - talented, some experience would be perfect at this stage.
Dai Cornell - needs to be getting loaned out every year.

    Ins

    Striker
    Winger
    Centre-half

The problem with loaning out these youngsters is that we'll have to get others in to play in the reserves, they have been brought in for that with the hope that they will make the step up should there be a need. Like Ben Davies has done. I don't think we'll be loaning any of them
