Full name Jorge Edward Grant[1] Date of birth 19 December 1994 (age 25)[2] Place of birth Banbury, England Height 5 ft 9 in (1.75 m)[2] Playing position(s) Midfielder Looks a bit lightweight by modern standards
Not really, just an observation. Nearly 26yrs old, only 5ft 9in tall Playing and scoring record, nothing special. Cannot see the point. We have better options already on the books.
Six goals and an assist in 11 games this season? He got a fair number of assists last season too. I can see why a number of Championship clubs might be sniffing around. I do not think 5’9” is too small for a left winger. If we lose Cantwell and/or Buendia, he might be the right sort of replacement. The main thing I would be interested in is if his assists and general chance creation is skewed towards low through balls. If so, I don’t care how small he is.
Fair comment, but if his former club Forest are interested,I would expect him to return. One other point. We have shopped at Lincoln before , and that was fruitless
You guys must follow alot of foreign and lower league football I am embarrassed to admit that before I read the rumour on News now this morning I had never heard of Edward Grant or seen him play . I certainly wouldn't be able to make a judgement on him coming here. I presume he would be very cheap which marks him out as a possible Norwich signing plus he's only 25 . There are gems out there in League 1 to be unearthed I'm sure.
I have never heard of him! I just meant that from a cursory glance, I can see why we might be interested.
Agree. Really wish we had gone for that Bali Mumba guy from 1st division Sunderland. Wonder what he is doing now?
Revealed: Club ‘regret’ not selling star to Leeds after £15m bid https://www.footballinsider247.com/revealed-club-regret-not-selling-star-to-leeds-after-15m-bid/
I am fairly certain that no bid was ever made, let alone rejected. How this carp gets regurgitated is beyond belief.
Here we go again, I thought. This will be Emi and Cantwell, I thought. But I was wrong Not exactly super-sleuth journalism, though https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/2...ing-a-january-departure-from-the-carrow-road/
I wouldn't call that any kind of journalism. It is a rehash of months old FACTS (courtesy Colu mike ) Ioften wonder at the journalistic training that goes into being so lazy and incompetent.
