We have the best right winger in the Championship now, what we need is a striker or centre half which ie where we area bit light
Seems to be a bit of both . https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/niklas-niehoff/profil/spieler/806073 Full backs are all about being attacking these days anyway. Got some hope stats with 8 assists and 2 goals . Rangers also linked supposedly. https://sportwitness.co.uk/rangers-...-important-offers-will-be-considered-by-club/
I think the centre-half is far less of an issue than the glaring gap at #9. I think we'll struggle to hold onto Baah. It's easy for me to say, not holding the purse-strings, but I hope we get top dollar for Baah and plonk the whole lot on red and get a decent centre-forward.
I really think we're done there, unless he plays as a #10 to a new very decent #9. Sort of how Troy transitioned when Ighalo was #9. But I don't know if he could do it.
We are keen to see Wiley return next season apparently. Done well in recent games . https://x.com/thewatfordway/status/1910743664856301991
We're apparently in a three-way tussle to sign CD Amadou Mbengue from Reading, who will be out of contract in the summer. https://africafoot.com/amadou-salif-mbengue-sur-les-tablettes-de-trois-clubs/
Well it's not TC it would seem... https://eflanalysis.com/news/tom-cleverleys-future-as-watford-manager-made-clear-after-agent-change/
Oops sorry that would help ! https://x.com/thewatfordway/status/1917704671055208952 Maybe sum’s Sierralta season up . Not really been seen that much mainly as sub .
Watford are aiming to have both James Abankwah and Caleb Wiley back at Vicarage Road next season – and Tom Cleverley says he “expects” the likes of Giorgi Chakvetadze and Kwadwo Baah to be at the club for the 2025/26 campaign as well.
