Thats why a player/coach rather than a player, if he played a dozen games and scored five or six goals we would not complain if he galvanised the younger players to become better players

 

I’m not sure, duggie. Sure, he had massive galvanising effect when on the pitch, but as soon as he was off it, performances often dropped.

I don't think so - and, to be honest, I don't think he sees himself in that role. He seems to be more intent on a career in the media.

 

I cannot say that he appears to have done a great deal at Brum. Despite the initial welcome to his home club, there have been growing moans about his playing ability since his return. Along with the more frequent injuries I suspect his playing days are nearing the end.

Unfortunately injury meant we never really saw him play .

 

There really needs to be a sort out. Some of them I have never heard of. These are the ones apart from the top two who are WFC players, but out on loan. Some are young players out to get experience, and others like Gray off loaded to save money. Just about all of them have loan periods that expire on 30/6/22.

The way Adam Masina was going round the pitch yesterday clapping to the crowd in a very pointed manner, I wondered if he was leaving us. If not then he was one of the few to really appreciate the support.

 

Another one looking likely to leaving this summer is Samir. The Brazilian joined Watford from Udinese in January & has made 18 appearances. Where’s he heading..you guessed it, back to Udinese.
