    My bet is we have him and maybe one other lined up as backups whilst wanting Nat Phillips deal from Liverpool. Busy last 48 hours of the window is my guess.

    I see that Liverpool have recalled a CB - whose name escapes me - they loaned to Swansea, supposedly in the expectation that Phillips will be leaving. I didn't think we'd stand a chance of signing him - until I read that Liverpool are still keen on signing Sarr. To be honest, I'd rather keep Sarr...

    Yes, that suggestion appears to make sense: 30+ million plus Nat Phillips for Sarr. I think that is tempting....

    I should add that may be why Kalu is coming in?
