'Sarr offered to Man U' - where the heck do they get these rumours from? Hopefully they just make them up... https://www.90min.com/posts/ismaila-sarr-offered-transfer-manchester-united-liverpool-step-back
On loan or permanent? If people go then we don't want to leave ourselves short .. Mind you would be 70k off the wage bill.
Didn't say - but the suggestion was that they are looking at him as they had been put off by the asking price for another target, so presumably permanent.
Well we probably want something close to 18 million and well he isn't worth that. TBF Might be useful in the Championship though if played the right away. IE. just allowed to run towards the goal rather than have to control it very often with his back to goal.
Despite the press conference today saying Sarr is available to play there is now a French paper claiming Liverpool have agreed a fee with Watford for Sarr. Really not sure this is anything but a made up story.
Other sources have reported this story with a great deal of scepticism, Chris, and the Athletic claims to have been informed by Liverpool sources that the club will be making no more purchases this summer. Now the only worry relating to Sarr appears to be Manchester Utd. All the reports about the interest of Manchester Utd. originate from one source (the Independent). Marseille are signing a Brazilian striker/winger named Luis Henrique for €10 million and Atletico Madrid are on the verge of signing Luis Suarez (the Uruguayan) from Barcelona so they are unlikely to be signing Watford's Luis Suarez. Valencia are the only other club who have been linked with our Luis Suarez and they are skint.
