    We need to return fast and stronger
    We should only sell the ones we dont want or need and if we cant sell them give them free transfers to cut operating costs

    Apparently the asking price is £4m - dare I say that, if Valencia can't afford that, they have no right to even be trying to sign him. Capoue himself is reportedly happy to stay with us - I'd suggest he gets his a**e down to the training ground quicksmart and prove that. I think we need him.

    If we are needing to realise a c5m loss after 1 year on a top player then we may as well give up right now.

    There is no way we would sell at a loss a player that is happy to stay and has 4 years left on his contract!!!!
    You do wonder about some of these stories....

    16 days to the end of the window.
    Sarr & Suarez need to be in the squad next weekend if they are staying.

    Finance wise, to balance the budget for this year we need to make up a difference of about 30m and so far we have sold / loaned out about 40m which should give instalment income of 15m. We are being helped by getting tv money which will help a bit but I think we need to sell just 2 more to see us financially balanced at least till January.

    According to Sportwitness we're about to announce the signing of defender William Troost-Ekong from Udinese, with Filip Stupaveric heading the other way - a signing that would close the door on Pereyra signing for them.

    What a tangled web...
