The word I am hearing from Vicarage Road remains the same. Doucoure is not for sale. BBC

It could happen with Udinese being in danger of relegation, but it would be a shame for us as I think he has shown enough to be a regular on the bench at least.

Watford have confirmed that Ben Wilmot will spend the remainder of this season on loan with fellow Pozzo-owned club Udinese.

The move will come as a surprise in some quarters, given the England Under-20 international came on as a substitute in last night's 2-1 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur and started Saturday's FA Cup fourth round success at Newcastle United.

But the move seems designed to give the talented 19-year-old more game time and will broaden his football experiences, with the different challenges playing in the Italian top-flight will bring.

 

He must be considered to be on the verge of becoming a first teamer at Vic, so especially if theres one or two injuries he gets shipped back here ?

No idea at this stage what the terms of the loan are Nick. No idea if they have a recall clause in the deal. I have a feeling that given the chance to play every week, and I hope he does, then it will only help him to develop. He is still a teenager remember.

As they sent us some of there better players to help us get into the EPL i often wondered why we did not send them some of our up and coming stars to help them ?

 

Their fringe squad players were better than most of what we had at the time. But they most certainly didn't send us anything like their best, by their own fans submission. Some they'd hoped would do better on their return... Angella would be the pick of the bunch, I guess, in that respect.

 

They did not like the family spending money on us that could have been spent on them

 

They are more than a tad upset at the moment, amplified by the fact that they're struggling. They're not happy and a significant minority properly hate us for sure.

 

Tbh I doubt we would be either !
