Maybe all these agents and media people think we are going to lose the likes of Doucouré and even Pereyra.

We always need a striker I feel but only get linked to kids or random ones with about 2 goals per season!

Also a goalie too.--I mean we've always had 4 on the books at any one time I think since the Pozzos have come in!

(Yet only really used 2 and a half - half a season for Foster)

Why are clubs struggling below us considered as bigger than us because they had some moderate success decades ago
it is our current status that matters today
if we finished fourth and qualified for Champions League we would still be favourites to go down next year
We have the strongest squad ever and a better squad than half of the Premier League clubs and the pundits etc from the eighties still choke on our success, pity they don't choke for real

Not a lot new here except that an offer of €33M has been refused, but €50M might not be.

 

Watford have expressed an interest in Nice midfielder Adrien Tameze amid concerns they will lose Abdoulaye Doucoure to Paris St Germain next month.

French champions PSG are understood to have opened discussions over a deal for Doucoure but are still short of Watford's £45million valuation with Everton among other clubs also in the hunt.

 

He is good, but I'd take 50 mil in the summer. Sure the Pozzo would too. We need him to the end of this season though IMO.

 

As much as I like Doucoure and think he's been one of our best players in the last 2 seasons, I don't think he would be as much as a loss now as he was maybe a year ago. Capoue has been in superb form, and we have a choice of Cleverley, Chalobah and Quina to step in - all good choices and not as heavily reliant on one person to cover

If we can get £40/45m for him, then he's gone - just hope it is to PSG
