Noooo... Roberto Pereyra: Watford midfielder linked with Torino transfer please log in to view this image Roberto Pereyra finished the campaign in strong form for Watford. Picture: Action Images 10 comments Roberto Pereyra has been linked with a transfer to Torino in a move which would see him join up with former Watford boss Walter Mazzarri. The Italian coach brought Pereyra to Watford in the summer of 2016, but got precious little use from the 27-year-old who struggled with injury in Mazzarri’s sole season at Vicarage Road. Pereyra once again found fitness hard to come by last term, but finished the campaign in strong fashion to become a key member of Javi Gracia’s side. He scored five goals in 34 outings in the 2017/18 campaign, including three in the final six games of the season. Pereyra’s ties to Turin where he previously played for Juventus adds to Torino’s belief they can convince him to return to Serie A. Torino are said to have approached Watford about a potential transfer, but will be hard pressed to prize the Argentine midfielder away from WD18.
Torino certainly have more pedigree than us, well who doesn't? That said I can't see it, he's just starting to get going after injury and if we're serious about top ten and Europa League then we need to keep him.
Every player has a price so 25M+ or sod off and that must be in the next 5 days so we can use that money or the price will go up
We were worried about Silva taking players but it seems Walter is on it too - Prödl now Pereyra! Wonder if Pozzo can do a deal where Walter thinks he is going to sign the latter but gets the former. But that never happens though, does it? The LB - Adam Masina story, the one who was due to sign, has gone quiet. No news on Deulofeu either. There can't just be one dried up Biro in the office. Grey to Stoke is another rumour. I'd really prefer players coming in before any outs mind, the transfer window is a paranoia inspiring thing to me. ¡¡Screw you transfer window!! I should have switched off to it all then just see who was in the squad.
Prodl can go - and can take Britos & Kaboul with him. Pereyra I'd prefer to stay but not overly fussed if he goes if the price is right - but can't really see Torino affording what we want for him. I think he still has 3 years on his contract so won't go cheap. Great player when on his game but think the last couple of season shows how thin our squad really is after a few injuries... can't afford too many injury-prone players Grey is another I am not too fussed either way - if we can get £14m for him, then great - but unless we can bring in someone of quality, I'd rather keep him. As for the ins - I'm sure they are working on a few and never too fussed when we don't hear much. Most players on their hols or preparing for the WC now anyway
I would but im off for a weeks holiday on friday plus i get my OAP in July So they cant afford me il be back for the month of sept
Guess who else wants the left back we have been linked to.. http://app.football-italia.net/?ref...-watford-masina#article/footballitalia-122616 Might be doing it on purpose to annoy us !
Great news if true ?! http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/watfordfc/watfordfcnews/16280917.Deulofeu__sold_to_Watford_/
So he signs and is revealed in the new kit launch. Excellent news! And the strippy kit is good too....
Well that deal is done and dusted, when will the next one happen? They do say that vertical stripes can make you look taller, while horizontal ones fatter. Might be an idea to buy one.
