Well if we could keep everyone fit and no-one we might have a decent squad but do neee a striker and some defenders .
Very true - Doucoure would be a very big loss - Richalison as well I think as the talent is there - just very young and raw.
Doucoure for 40-45M and Richalison 20-25M we have Will Tom and Nathaniel so i think we can hold our own there its wide and at the back we need sorting
You'd snap their hands off for 40 million ! https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/psg-monaco-join-chelsea-arsenal-12322280
Young defender from Stevenage signing - one for the future I guess. Sorry first link I saw was from the Sun! https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/6011440/ben-wilmot-watford-stevenage-arsenal-tottenham/
I'd love to keep Doucoure so he and Chalobah can try to get a full season together - but don't think it's going to happen. We still have Cleverley and Capoue, so think we are ok at CM - but wouldn't mind us going for Loftus-Cheek if Chelsea are willing to sell. With the names coming in for Doucoure, I can see him going for £40m Richarlison I'd like to keep but if we get an offer of anything over £30m I'd be ok with him going. We seem to be getting Peneranda back this summer Otherwise I'd like us to get rid of Okaka and bring in a first choice striker and let Deeney be an impact player from the bench. Also I'd happily let a couple of CBs go. Assuming Wague goes back, we have Prodl, Britos, Kaboul, Cathcart, Mariappa, Kabasele plus Hoban. I think it might be time for Hoban to move on now on a permanent move - shame as I do like him. I'd like Britos and Kaboul to go too - maybe Prodl too, Kabasele should be first choice, with Mariappa and Cathcart in the squad. So think it should be more outs than ins this summer... Would be ok with 3/4 coming in
I think yes Docuore and Richarlison will most likely go. I think we need to look at our defenders and bring in a couple of quality players Up front cant see any future for Gray ... and not sure if Okaka is really what we want
It seems that the club are prepared to invest in young English players, and he could be one of them. Found this article about him. https://www.independent.co.uk/sport...rise-and-rise-bucking-the-trend-a8265681.html
I think the signings of Chalobah and Hughes showed the club are willing to go English at the right price. At £1m, it's not really too much of a gamble and hopefully a better chance of breaking through to the first team than some of the other teams - although maybe recent history shows potentially not. The better the first team squad gets, I think we will see less spent on that, and more investment in buying young potential
Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, Liverpool, PSG, Marseille and..........Everton The trajectory of Richarlison is heading earthward again.
Well he is a winger - how many play with those or need one? If he did leave he'd very be a squad player or be cover for the strikers I guess.
