Spurs have done well this window, looks like they'll have
Sessegnon
Lo celso
Ndombele
Possibly Dybala pending negotiations

Ain't worried about utds business they're still no worry imo

Gooners have gone a bit mad it seems but
Pepe
Saliba
Tierney
Luiz
Will deffo make them more dangerous.

Chavs are an unknown under lampard, could go well til Xmas them bomb who knows.

City added Rodri and cancelo, lost kompany which could tell hopefully over the season, still think they'll come 1st tho tbh.

Brewster and the rest of you youngsters plus Lallana and ox naby and Shak need to smash it when their chances come this season, I have faith they will :emoticon-0148-yes:

The spuds will sell eriksen im pretty sure so id rate their window as average

Not for the European clubs. They can still buy him and he was only ever going to go abroad.

It's that or levy losses him on a free
Good point I forgot about. Let's ****ing hope he goes then :bandit:

The one counter argument offer though is your team is as good as it ever was and are all at good ages (mixture of youmg and experience).

You very nearly won the league and maybe you should try to push for it with some signings as team are always in cycles. In a year or two, players may move on, he even your great manager is probably going to be gone in 2 years (whens his contract up)

I'm hoping that Klopp sees this as a long term project and signs on beyond his current contract, he's a superb manager one of the best in the world and is very much responsible for our change in fortunes.

I think that's exactly what he sees it as.

If we jumped on "anyone but Karius" we wouldn't now have Alisson, if we jumped on "anyone but Lovren" we wouldn't now have Van Dijk

Our strategy avoids wasting lots of money so we can get the [HASHTAG]#worldclass[/HASHTAG] options when they arise

Everton are the opposite, throwing ~£30m on [HASHTAG]#nomarks[/HASHTAG] left, right, and centre then wondering why they're only going backwards while we're making CL finals year after year after year

Some of us used to bang about this approach before Klopp arrived and we were buying the likes of Balotelli!

City have strengthened their already incredible squad and finally got cover for Fernandinho. They will get 100 points yet again or there abouts.
Tottenham have bought very well, I can see them coming 2nd and us finishing 3rd. We didn't need to spend big as Klopp said, but we clearly needed cover in some areas.

The only reason i i mention that is didnt didnt say something about spending time with his kids when they are in their teen years which he will never get back. Something about family is as important as footie which is why he didnt negotiate a longer contract?

Klopp seems like the maverick type who doesnt need to stay in football to enjoy his life

I know what you mean, he's also said he wants to manage Germany one day. His wife is very supportive of his role at Liverpool (for now at least) I think that when it comes to signing a new contract his wife will push him towards extending (from articles I've read) I don't think he'll be with us for a decade or more but I think a contract extension is pretty much nailed on, probably another 2 years and then he may want to do something else.

7 yrs. at Mainz, 7 at Dortmund, I think Klopp will do at least 7 at LFC. Coming up 4 yrs. he's been with us.

I think we are strong as last season, if not stronger. Pep Gurdiola said we are lucky to
win the champion league. City needs luck to win it too.

My wild theory is we are saving our money for Mbappe next year. It all seems a bit strange after we won the Champions league there was a lot of talk saying we had won the most prize money in a season ever if I remember rightly it was close to £250,000,000. So seems we should be ok under FFP to spend something. I do get the feeling the finishing 2nd curse could hit us again this year.

I really don't understand why Wilson was loaned out when cover was already thin. If nothing else occasional sub and starts cup games and dead rubber CL games.

I agree that he would be used for cups games, but he isnt good enough imo. Neither is Origi though and he is going nowhere
