GOALKEEPERS * Gordon (Sunderland) 1-2M (Probability - ??) Injury problems, ok if he's a back up option * Emiliano Viviano (Part owned by Inter Milan) 8M (Probability - ??) Don't know DEFENDERS * Cahill (Bolton) 17M (Probability - Likely) Overpriced but might be able to make the step up * Samba (Blackburn) 12M (Probability - Likely) Lacks some pace but the battling, PL experienced player we need right now * Jose Enrique (Newcastle) 8M (Probability - Not that likely) Clichy needs to be replaced but this isn't that much of an improvement MIDFIELDERS * Arturo Vidal (Bayern Leverkusen) 15M? (Probability - Small Chance) Quality, need this to happen!! * Juan Mata (Valencia) 20M+ (Probability - Slim to No Chance) Quality but we won't spend over 20M and seems happy in Valencia * Ricky Alvarez (Velez) 12M? (Probability - Decent chance) Sounds promising but might take 6 months to adjust to the PL * Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (Southampton) 10M? (Probability - Decent chance) One for the future but sounds much more polished then Walcott was at the same point STRIKERS * Gervinho (Lille) 10.5M (Probability - Likely) Not a world beater but can play in several positions which Wenger loves * Romelu Lukaku (Anderlecht) 18M+ (Probability - No Chance) Quality, next Drogba, but he seems to have his heart set on Chelsea...maybe with their new coach they'll get Falco, Hulk instead and we can get in there but doubt it
But who have Arsenal actually signed? The Gervinho thig was meant to have been done and dusted 2 weeks ago, but still no unveiling. This is where David Dein would be handy - a real deal maker. How many have ManU, Chelsea, LFC signed whilst Arsenal have been dithering (much like their play in key areas).
