Wow - well compiled Wiz. Not working or shopping today? You missed out on the Ryan Stevenson stuff all over the scottish papers. When Derek mentioned another option up-front, this may well have been what he was referring too. On a personal front I am just excited that for once we will not have a quiet transfer window and can actually do some business.
Wize, not wumming here but do you think the board will allocate money for new signings or will any money be swallowed up to balance the books (like rovers) I think the board will swallow the money and ask DM to make do with the number of existing strikers. They will though have the maynard wages to spend on a couple of decent loan signings.

Get rid of about 10 players who are out of contract in the summer and we'll see plenty of decent signing coming our way, as we'd also be safe in the Championship by then aswell, walst Maynard is cleaning Zamoras boots at Fulham!
Lot of stuff to absorb wize and it's difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff. On the subject of Albert I think it's only a matter of time before he heads to pastures new and perhaps if he does go in the transfer window it may be the best thing. For several seasons we have had a top heavy squad in numbers and that has needed cutting down earlier. Past history I know but NM should have gone in the summer even it was to a so-called better team for less money. It's going to be a very interesting first month of 2012 and I'm sure we will all be watching the boards for the news just hoping we bring in new blood that will die for the shirt.
~McIness has muted "a couple of players", one being a tall centre forward, and i presume the other to be O'Brien from Leeds. This is all relegation insurance. Next summer however is a different issue
Maynard can go as far as im concerned, we have not had the best out of him this season and on a personal note, i really dont think he will do much in the premier league. He is struggling to score against average defenders in the CCC, there is no way he can cut it against world class defenders. Adomah is a different story, we could potentially get a fair old whack for him, but i think he is trying to run before he can walk, hes had a few good games this season, but for me, hes still a rough diamond, there is no doubting the ability of the guy, and one day he will make an excellent winger in the premier league, but right now, the CCC is where he should stay, be it with us or another team.
Only ridiculous money will see Adomah leave before the term of his contract. Our ambitious board have said as much.
