If a fee is undisclosed how will we ever know?

Think the fee for Ali is still the record, but my gut feeling is, it's been busted on the quiet...

To be honest Blackcatsteve...I don't think he ever really settled up North.

You can take the boy out of London, but you can't take the London out of the boy.

Guess Anton was chomping at the bit, to come back down to a London club. Once he knew one was after him...

Good luck to the lad, decent player for us (especially the last 3 games) he has been a rock beside Brown, but when Bramble/Turner/Laing (young kid we have coming through) get in the team, then I dont think he would have got much game time.

I also think the 8 million we payed for him was bout 4 milion too much, but then that was a Keane signing, so no surprise there.

He was also in the last year of his contract, so whatever we got is a bonus, (Short/Bruce didnt buy him) if it was 1 million fine, it was was 4.5 fantastic, as he could have waled for free in 12 months time.

Everyone's happy all round then....No offence...but don't rate Titus Bramble. Isn't there some website dedicated to him, that has a lot of his defensive boobs on it?

Again though Bramble has been great for us, we had the most clean sheets last season at one stage with 9 or 10 I think it was and he was the bedrock of that, yes he had a bit of a mare against newcastle in the 5-1 but then so did the other 10 players, so cant blame just him.

He played in the CL for Newcastle, so he cant be that bad, yes their fans slate him, as he does do the odd defensive blunder, but then which defender does 0 in their whole career?

All I can say is though he was great for Wigan and has been Great for us last season, and with Brown/ O`Shea in the side, I believe it will bring the best out of him. and he only cost 1 million, same as Brown, 2 very very good buys for me.

The fee for SWP is quoted between £5-£6.5 million, Ferdinand was quoted at £3 million on SSN. So the record has gone...

But why do some people still think that faurlin was our transfer record???? It came out in the FA enquiry that he only cost us between 200-600k, the 3.5 million figure was the club inflating the signing fee to please the fans.

... or as the FA investigation concluded - the reported fee was 'a puff' to appease the fans!
