So far I believe we've spent £2.5m on Amat, £5m on Shelvey, and maybe some compo for the Pozuelo move (not sure). If we spend £13m on Bony then how much do you think is left in the transfer kitty? I'd say we could and possibly should take the total up to £30m to secure on more striker. The extra tv cash should hopefully cover the extra wages and hopefully we'll offload the fringe players. What do you all think? How much more spending do we need?
probably £8-10 million for a quality midfielder and a defender...after everything evens itself out i dont think we would have spent £10-12 million max if that.....i might be wrong but im taking into account Brendan and his backroom staff, Joe allen and danny all of which we made a huge profit...
I can't help but wonder if we've actually spent anything on Jonjo or wether we've come up with some sort of a deal with Liverpool because they still owed us £5M from the Joe Allen transfer

Absolutely right, so far we have Jonjo 1mill tops, Pozuelo undisclosed but believed to be ( by me ) around 1.5 mill, Canas was free ,Jordi 2.5, JDG loan, Gogic free and Zabret 1 mill tops. I think 7 or 8 would cover it so far...
I don't think we'll spend any more money if this deal goes forward. Unless of course we were owed money from Liverpool and the debt was offset on the other transfer. I've said that I doubt we'd spend more than £20m in this window.
Jager, I tend to agree with you on that estimation because we also have to take into account wages as well and given the fiscal prudence of the board it sound about right.

I like Granero and think he could do well. I know he plays out wide but he prefers the number 10 role and he aint getting a sniff around here. We've already signed 39 attacking midfielders I think...
we have to pay £14 million for bony and i dont know if that is all at once or in installments, I hope we pay it all at once and get it over with after all we will still be £1 million up on the deal for what we sold joe allen for to liverpool.
