MM wants to sign Robert Snodgrass for £8M -

Tom Geaton doesn't have a future at Cardiff -

Not sue about either of these.

Snodgrass is good, probably better than what we have, but £8M!!!!!

Heaton may be a luxury as a second keeper, but isn't that what we are after, strength and cover in every position. Heaton in the Cup looks to have been an advertising ploy.

The Mirror and the sun huh, sorry remote I can't see a 8mill bid from us on anyone and can't see Tom going anywhere, the usual lets make something up to fill a space from the gutter trash

More lazy journalism. During the transfer window there was a rumour we were interested in Snodgrass. Leeds are supposed to have placed an £8m price tag on him.

Put the two together and hey presto you have a story. Easy this journalism lark isn't it.

I haven't read the Sun in 30 years as they are the worst of the red tops. Heaton moving has been doing the rounds for a while but I hope it's not true.

Eight million for Snodgrass is a bit steep and the article has stated Warnock has made him captain. Mind you Papa Smurf has sold players in the past without consulting the manager. Saying that he is highly rated and at 24-5 years old has the best years in front of him.

Hmm......I doubt Snodgrass is worth any more than Whitts in pure cash terms, and I've never heard anything like that valuation quoted for our guy. The more likely figure to get him would be half of Bate's asking price. Good acquisition though if the guy doesn't get a better offer from a Prem club - that's assuming of course that we won't be one by then. :emoticon-0105-wink:

As for Heaton, I can't accept that he was put in the shop window for the CC final. No advantage to the club, only Heats himself. He can walk in the summer and negotiate his own terms.

Anyway, how does the Sun know we're not going to offer him a contract? They've either got an inside track on Malky's future plans keeperwise (very doubtful), or more likely been fed some hidden agenda info by Heaton's agent to put his man in the frame and in turn, line his own pockets.

Not saying I believe this stuff. Just throwing it out there for general debate on a Sunday morning.

Both scenarios would not be good outcomes for me.
