    Do you think that if Meyler and Elmo in the squad yesterday would have changed the result? I know it's impossible to predict, but in that system maybe meyler would have been a bit of an improvement on Evans, but Elmo probably wouldn't have even played. So the obvious question comes to the forefront: why are they targets? They may improve squad depth, but do they address our perpetual attacking deficiencies? Who would if not?

    We shall never know re.Blackburn and Charlton for that matter. What they will add is squad depth and choice and keep everyone on there toes. No question about eithers quality though.

    I'm still hoping The Mirror story about Chris Wood is true. There was only 2 strikers I saw Chester have any moments of struggle against last season, one was Carlton Cole and the other was Chris Wood.

    He'd allow Proschwitz more time to settle and take some of the pressure off him, whilst allowing us to keep height upfront.

    100% agreed with ^^^^ this. WBA have said that Chris Wood can go out on loan or a full transfer. I would take on a season long loan deal for now.

    depends if this elmo can cross, unlike pretty much everybody else in our current squad, ..
    might give prozzy half a chance if he can..

    I'd like Wood, we could have probably got him on a permanent for less than we paid for Prozzy, though I think now Celtic are after him.
