£2m - YES on a few levels. 1) stops promotion competition strengthening 2) looks handy so no harm in having extra cover 3) got bags of potential so likely to make a profit when sold on 4) will piss my bcfc mates off

Redmond would be great, but can't see it myself. Don't think there is anyone in their squad that would drastically improve us. Chris Burke is decent, but no better than what we already have Kudos to Jack Butland BTW, turned down the chance to talk to Chelsea as he wants to play first team football every week. Refreshing.
Wrong move can absolutely ruin a goalkeeper's career, so looks like he's making the correct decision. Wouldn't mind him here, would have to play second fiddle to Kasper though (best goalkeeper in the league).

Who is this Gedo bloke? I've seen some Hull fans frothing at the mouth over his name, just have no idea. Is he some sort of young star we should all be jealous about?
None of us really know anything about him, other than his international record is fairly impressive, he's scored 17 goals in 32 games and he won the Golden Boot at the 2010 AFCoN. He's considered the best striker in Egypt(he's scored 29 goals in 72 league games for Al-Ahly), but as I've no idea what the standard of striker is like in Egypt, we'll just have to wait and see.
This is like us and Yuki Abe, seems fuelled by the owners to promote the club in their own countries. Who do you think will score more for you? the Egyptian guy or DJ?
