Must remember that we were told the money must cover the whole cost of the deal, including wages, but we must still be doing okay because we also got wages off the books when we had the early summer clear out. I am now going to refer to the period when rats left the ship as our clear out phase. :)
 
Matt talking on Sky said that the team doesn't look much weaker than the team from last year. Said the idea of a meltdown was exaggerated as the owner and chairman said the money would be available to Koeman and they have stuck to their word.

P.s. Isn't it lovely having Matty and Franny back on board the bus.

I sent a message to Matt last night when we were playing Scrabble to say "That window probably shut a few people up" to which he replied "let's hope so". I think he's feeling quite vindicated at the moment.
 
Aston Villa have contacted the PL about being allowed to take Cleverly on loan. Apparently they were working on it all day, but ManU were too busy with other deals :). A chap on Sky (talking about something else) said that part of the problem is everyone trying to use the same software at the same time.
 
Cleverly may have joined Villa on loan. They are waiting for the Prem league to decide.

Well, let's face it, the only deal that was done yesterday was that Falcao went to ManU on loan. No other business actually happened, according to Rupert Murdoch's media empire. Well maybe one or two unimportant bits and pieces.
 
Just watched the Jos video tribute...lots of good memories and what a great fun character that guy is..good luck at Norwich and I'm sure everyone at Saints will miss him.

I got sick of it last night. They had reporters at Chelsea and they were going to him for zip news. It was falcao watch, my as well have mr Attenborough present it next year.
