Todays papers linking us with loan moves for Man U midfielders Nick Powell and Tom Lawrence David McGoldrick still linked aswell
Just reading about the Tom Lawrence one. No idea who he is though, never heard of him. Quick google results: 20 year-old Man Utd striker, who scored 2 goals in 19 appearances on loan at Yeovil last season. One for the academy?
Also, I REALLY hope we DON'T sign McGoldrick. I've seen him play. He's carp, and no better than what we already have!

Scoring more then your opponents while ignoring defense is a valid strategy - worked for Chelsea against Everton the other night...
That is Defoe not happening... He probably still wants £75k a week, if he was willing to take a paycut, he would have stayed in the prem rather than move to Toronto.
Sorry Johnny, for some reason, I just have this thing against us signing McGoldrick... I didn't want us to sign Deeney either... No offence, but we have 3/4 Championship strikers, we don't need another, not for £8m anyway! And I've always rated Powell, not much risk if it is a loan...
Over 30? Check. Ridiculous wages, that nobody else will pay him? Check. Played for 'Arry before? Check. He's off to the Dramas...
I would keep Wood, I wouldnt be totally against a loan but I think Nigel might let him go with Ulloa settling so well
