Squad is fairly strong as it is. The main requirements from last season stemmed from Alioski leaving (and probably the weak link) and Klich's energy levels falling off the edge of the earth. This season we already have Firpo as an upgrade on Alioski (hopefully) and it looks like Klich has recovered his mojo. If he can't sustain it then Forshaw looks like he could be an asset. I was screaming for Conor Gallagher last summer so to miss out on him this year was a big disappointment as he would have been a massive upgrade on Klich. The only other position is striker. Not many available though at a decent price. Roberts and Rodrigo will have to cover Paddy again. Therefore I'm not sure there is much we can do without writing a £20-30 million cheque.

Matty Cunha, who was heavily linked with Leeds, has signed for Atletico Madrid ... no way he would have chosen Leeds over Chumps Lge with Spanish Champions anyway ... as Doc says, Nandez is a deal waiting to happen, could get a tasty deal with staggered payments thrown in to sweeten the deal ... got a feeling someone might cave in and hand Orta a quality bargain

O’Brian seems to be a problem as some want him and some dont ghink hes worth it. In which case you can see why we havent signed him. Dike is a big mobile centre forward so why would we want him? He isnt going to get a game ahead of Paddy and we have the Spain No9 plus Roberts and Gelhardt waiting innthe wings. Dike would be a huge change of tactics so never going to happen. Unless Bielsa has seen something
good points there Emu ... issue with Gallagher was that Chelsea refused to include an option to buy, and Leeds didn't want to go down the Ben White route again ... if Chelsea were willing to sell him next summer, he would be at Leeds right now, and wouldn't have chosen Palace ... poor lad isn't going to progress much under Vieira, who isn't going to be a success as a Prem manager

No he wasn't but the rumours with Lingard were that his ego was getting a bit too big around the camp. Ole Solskjaer would entertain Pogba and his giant ego but not Lingard so sidelined him and eventually sent him out on loan and would be happy to let him go permanent. Bielsa alledgedly stopped pursuing Benrahma because of his haircut and video on social media thinking it might upset the group. The club have since said that attitude and professionalism is just as important as ability when scouting new signings. It won't happen. I wouldn't want it to happen if it has potential to upset what is perceived to be a close knit group. Just my uninformed view on it.
Well to be fair to lingard he would have had to go some to be on a par with poohba regarding ego and I doubt he would have gotten anywhere near! So on that basis ole had a massive job and if he couldn't manage another trying to muscle in on the scene well Jesse had to take a break away.....but he is back so has he looked in the mirror?
