Im thinking a gas win. Something tells me Tranmere wont be that bothered about a cup run seeing they are 23rd in the relegation zone. They will be thinking concentrate on the league as its been a very poor start for them. They have had a similar start to life in league 2 like we did! Some of our players have never played in a competitive game against a football league opposition so these players will be up for it. Also our form is pretty good. Remember mind they are a league above us but looking at the tables, they are just 6 places above us and not on good form. Brunt I fell will get a chance and I think he will take it. Sinclair is back as well. I think we will win this, say 2-0. McChrystal is set to face he old club so he will have something to prove.
I think they'll try to use the cup to kick start their season. However, I think our lads will win a replay.
Details about the ref... http://bristolroverssc.co.uk/2014/11/06/england-boss/ A conference ref Has been ref for 7 games all in the conference and he has only showed 2 yellows. So he lets games go by the looks of things.
Tranmere boss on our game.... http://www.bristolpost.co.uk/Tranme...g-tough-test/story-24320091-detail/story.html
TRANMERE MATCH PACK Opposition: Tranmere currently sit in the relegation places in League Two and have gathered a 12 point return from their 16 games so far this season. Their poor start to the season saw them earn just two wins in their opening twelve games cost manager Rob Edwards his job and the club have recently appointed Micky Adams as his successor. Since the appointment of Adams the team from Birkenhead have had three concecutive draws and will be looking to get their first win under their new manager this weekend. Dangerman - Abdulai Bell-Baggie: The 22-year old, who was born in Sierra Leone, came through the youth system at Reading and had loan spells at Rotherham, Port Vale and Crawley before being realsed in 2011. Although he hasn't scored for over a month, the Tranmere frontman will be looking to add to his three goals this season when Rovers arrive at Prenton Park. Darrellâs View: âItâs another project and it will be another good game for us. âTranmere havenât had the best of starts in League Two, but theyâve got a new manager and will be looking to get their first win under him on Saturday. âIt is a very tough place to go, but we will go there and give it our best shot and see where it takes us. âIf we get our game going then Iâm sure we will give them a difficult game âThey are going to be looking to kick start their season against us and we need to go in wanting to stop that happening." Team News: Daniel Leadbitter serves the last of his three match ban, Andy Monkhouse begins his three match ban and new signing Lyle Della-Verde is available for selection. Last Meeting: The last time these two sides met was back in March 2011 where a 19th minute Chris Lines goal secured all three points for Rovers at Prenton Park against a team that included Mark McChrystal in their defensive line. Listen Live: On Gas Player or on BBC Radio Bristol DAB/94.9FM frequency.
rather lose than get a replay. we do not want a fixture pile up and that what all conference sides get if they get a cup run.
We're gonna beat this lot. I feel it in my water. And when I say water, I mean India Pale Ale. Come on you Rovers!
Best thing with our current plight is a Gas defeat. Concentrate on getting out of the murky pond we are in. We do not as Club need the diversion of a Cup run that will (money aside) be of no consiquence to us come next Season. Our squad still seems to suffer more injuries than average and we are still unable to score Goals against teams in the White Van Man League. No distractions no excuses just GTF out of this League. Me I'll be happy to see The Gas lose tomorrow and Weston super Mare turn over the mighty Doncaster.
5 changes to the starting 11 that last played. Mildenhall returns from illness so Puddy drops to the bench. McChrystal replaces the injured Trotman. Sinclair returns from injury replacing Clarke who doesnt make the bench. Martin replaces Monkhouse who is suspended. Brunt starts after returning from a loan spell at York.
Starting 11 in a 442 formation.... Mildenhall Lockyer McChrystal Parkes Brown Gosling Mansell Sinclair Martin Brunt Taylor
Our bench.... (7 allowed as cup game) Puddy Thomas Wilson Della-Verde (new loan signing) Harrison White Cunnington Very attacking bench!
As we know, Gill no longer is at Tranmere. Woodards hasnt made the match day squad. However Eliot Richards makes the starting 11 and starts against us.
