Fairly sure you win the tramp food Oscar every year bro, but Spam is pure Shtink, **** canned meat. I don’t mind a slice of corned beef once in a blue moon, but not from a tin. I stopped eating tinned Tuna as well, rotten ****e.
I can't believe they still sell canned meat, they were canning meat when ****in' cowboys knocked about. It's barely improved in quality since then. Ye know it's just barely edible garbage, go to a place where they have real food control and you can't even find the stuff. Shoulda got rid of this **** when they got rid of rationing imo.
If you ever see food programmes from the US you'd note how different their corned beef is ... they just put cuts like brisket in brine for days to tenderise, and then slice it thinly like ham ... looks lovely ... nowt like the **** we get over here
Guess you haven’t made corned beef then? Brine is to flavour, then you slow cook, steam the brisket. Don’t slice it thin, that would be pastrami, different animal(still beef though)
