As some of you know I was picked to present the award to Robert Koren this morning for player of the month award. Iv just got back from the training ground, having met all the players, watched the team train, and been shown round. Watching them train was great, it was there double session today, which meant session this morning then gym this afternoon. They were doing defenders v attackers for most the training session. Good news: Cameron Stewart looks like he hasn't lost a thing, still really quick and they were getting him on the ball as much as they could. Paul McShane was back in contact training too. I spoke with Oly, and he said he was a couple of weeks away from being fully fit. Bad News: Liam Rosenior limped off near the end, after a tackle in there mini game. But when I asked him in the medical room if he's alright, he said "Yeah, il be fine mate for Saturday don't worry" So thats good. Also, Martin Pusic left for the medical room after the warm ups, he also said he is ok. Corry Evans flew into Chester in the first 2 minutes of the game and he showed me the damage he did, got 3 stud marks in his ankle. But he soldiered on and will be fine im sure. Robbie Brady has a day off, as does McLean and Barmby who are playing in the reserves tonight. Dele Adebola was banging them in left right and center in training, as was Paul McKenna. All in all, the whole club welcomed me, and I thought it was great, I can certainly understand NP saying the team spirit is high as they were laughing all session long with each other. I said to Matty Fryatt to run over to the East Stand if he scores, so we will have that on Saturday! Look out for me on the website!
Interesting stuff. Though I don't think we actually have a reserve game tonight(next fixture is against Gateshead on Nov 9th).
Nope, its what the Hull City team said to me this morning, they have behind close doors match tonight. Was a bit suprised myself as McLean is playing in it

Just when i was reading it and you said Liam Rosenior Limped of near the end i said to myself "oh **** sake" and then read on and was like "thank **** for that" Ha Ha
ohh haha, yeah when I went into the medical room, him and Pusic where on the medic beds, Rosenior had a this pad all around his foot. Thats when I asked him. I tell you what though, Chester's ankle looked nasty, had 3 cut marks from where Corry stooded him (by accident)
Great update Beverley, but I feel I should point out that McShane has been on the bench the last 2 games, so I don't think him taking part in contact training is that surprising
yeah, I chatted with him last, he was doing a interview for the Tigers player, so never saw him actually doing anything but he was in shorts and top like the rest of the players. Oh yes, course he has. duhhh!
