As I don't live near Southampton I haven't seen the progress with the building work at Staplewood which was supposed to be happening in the close season. Has anyone else had a look?
Driving up the Marchwood Bypass last Tuesday, the pitches near the bypass itself have portakabins on the far side, so I think work has possibly begun but not too sure
work began months ago. the players were already in temporary buildings on the other side of the car park before the end of last season. the work's going to take over a year to be completed, it wont be ready until next summer.
