With the NH Season picking up slowly who do we think should be watched out for? I do not mean the obvious yards of Mr Nicholls, Henderson and Mullins but lesser financially supported yards.

I will start with my 3 for this season:

Charlie Longsdon (first pointed out by STICK last year) has had a superb start and did very well last year too, can only improve and watch out when he puts the very impressive Kielan Woods up who takes a valuable 7lbs off!!

David Arbuthnot is another who did very well last season and should fire in numerous winners this year, he is very adept at getting horses 'well handicapped' and having them run up a sequence of wins in quick succession.

Old 606ers will know i new Jamie Snowden during my time at Knightsbridge with the Household Cavalry. A very nice man and good rider who has turned his hand well to training. He has more horses now and will get some good priced winners in big handicap races.

Finally watch out for Nick Gifford when he starts his horses at Fontwell!

Neil Mulholland showed his talent last year, particularly in handling Midnight Chase to run up a hat-trick of Cheltenham wins. He welcomes Mad Max into the yard this season and is potentially aiming for the Grand National with this giant of a horse.

Gordon Elliot's horses travelling to the UK have to be respected - he tends to favour Perth but has been known to send the odd one to Cheltenham's early season meetings <ok>

I also think Alan King will continue his improvement from last season.

    And finally the ladies :))))))
