Another option is to drive to the ground and park right outside, using parkonmydrive.com, you can get a place ten minutes walk from the ground for £6.50.

It's what I do, though it's possibly a better option for people who already know their way around London.

Great idea tbf, not used that for a while but have used the site many of times in the past for Wembley

Think we’ll make a weekend of it, the thought of driving in london doesn’t appeal, however I looked at parking on people’s drives. Good idea and good prices

west London....
M25/ M4...park in Chiswick/Hammersmith and walk to the ground along the river. Lovely on a summer day...
Pub called the Crabtree, backs onto Thames, nice beer garden...

Depends how much you’d pay for fuel and parking as to whether it’s good value but you can get trains direct from Hull to Kings Cross on the morning of the match, with an early start, and then return late afternoon/ early evening on the Sunday for £60 each. (First class doesn’t look a great deal but it’s £112 each, or split it and go down standard and come back first class for ££85 each)

I probably default to trains because I hate driving, but at least you can chill out from early Saturday rather than having a stressful journey…and have an early beer too
