Train fare evasion is a serious matter

As Forum Mod, it’s my duty to report some reprehensible behaviour yesterday involving a Charlton fan.

@lardiman look away now.

A Charlton fan with a cheap, closed ticket chose to jump onto an earlier Manchester to London train after yesterday’s game, knowing full well, as the train expert he is, that this is illegal.

The train was packed, so the Charlton fan grabbed a seat and began “chatting up” a female Charlton fan

His mate proceeds further down the train looking for a seat ....and notices the Ticket Inspectors advancing.

Frantically he rings his lothario pal to tell him to jump back off the train, but his mate unwisely ignores the calls as he is too busy on the pull

Soon the ticket inspectors arrive in Randy’s carriage, so the Charlton fan pretends to fall asleep knowing he has no ticket

The “po faced” ticket inspector isn’t falling for that, and wakes the randy fare evader from his imaginary slumber, demanding to see a ticket.

When he admits he does not have one, an £80 Penalty Fare is administered

Almost in tears at this point, the fare evader offers to get off at the next stop...only to be informed the train is now fast to London

I had to catch a different train to work this morning - I couldn’t be seen to be consorting with a felon.

 

His constant chatting has got him into trouble and elfs can't say he wasn't warned about this in the past.

Disturbing scenes in Bromley tonight mate.

I just drove past the Salvation Army hostel which serves as a food bank ....I definitely spotted @baraettmattesvensson in the queue behind a Romanian accordion player ...that £80 penalty fare has hit him hard.

With the Mansfield trip now imminent, please be careful not to associate too closely with a well known Fare Evader when travelling on Sunday.

The serial felon is likely to track down a female octagenarian Charlton fan on the said train, whom he is known to be infatuated with.

It was this perving that landed him an £80 penalty fare last time.

Other fare evasion lies from @baraettmattesvensson include hiding in the luggage rack, and claiming a half fare as he is only the size of a 7 year old.

He said f*** it I'm getting the earlier train from Leeds after the Accrington game. He was keen to travel back with me.
