Utterly chronic, even worse than usual. God knows what those high vis wearing Neanderthals are there to do, they certainly don't.

A bit of pro activity and organisation and they could make a massive difference.

It drives me insane - there are loads of them and they do absolutely f&ck all.

Rant over. Great result today. Really cross I'll be on a plane working when we play Villa next weekend.

Don't worry, Walton Streets closed for the Villa game.

    Too ****ing right.

I'm assuming the police caused the gridlock? But the hi-viz brigade are clueless and actively encourage queue jumping.

Isn't Calvert Lane still closed, and there was temporary lights on Spring Bank West yesterday. The problem seemed to be with non-stadium traffic. I was on foot, and as I was leaving there was a huge line of cars driving into Walton Street off Spring Bank West - you never normally get that - I reckon that was why today was worse.

Why they weren't using Albert Avenue, I have no idea.

Traffic control..!!! That's a larf...Got chatting to a copper whilst sat in stationary traffic on Walton St. He blamed the council....Which knowing HCC I am not surprised about at all...

Spending £100k on getting an orchestra, when the 95% of Hull people couldn't give a toss about classical music. Then neglecting the City Centre which is piled high with litter. You couldn't make it up...Rant over.

City of Culture....That will be great won't it when the City centre is full of plastic bottles, beer cans and fast food wrappers and god knows what else. That will look great on TV when the southern biased media come up here to stick it to us again. The council have to get their prioritises right and whilst I understand that the City of Culture will open some doors to neglect the environment in which we live is a crime. Pay some street cleaners to tidy up the city centre instead of musicians from London to perform at the City Hall...NOW and AGAIN....Rant number two over...

Traffic was a joke today, got home @ 6:35, 3 miles from the KC. last week was home only an hour later @7:35 from newcastle!
Putting those light on spring bank just added to chaos, absolute brainless who ever is in charge at the council of traffic/road works control..

Agreed. Also, we should pull out of them Prem in case someone from the home counties sees the horsehit beneath the flyover near the The Circle.

    Anlaby Rd fly-over currently being a contra-flow doesn't help.

Traffic exiting via West Park is being given priority which means general traffic travelling east on Anlaby Rd
is held back. It only takes one car to stop in the wrong place at Walton St junction to cause gridlock.

Like I said, not having a pop, but you seem to favour American spellings.

No big deal either way, just that you were consistently doing it so thought you might be American.

Maybe the police could do something useful for once ? No ? Traffic control would be more useful than been in the middle of the east stand
