I'm going to say that we won't be good enough to beat them tomorrow night and I would be very happy with a draw. I think we will huff and puff and put in a workman like performance and run them close but their quality and confidence will show in the final third... Our lack of quality and confidence in front of goal will also be there for everyone to see. Be very happy to be proven wrong though! 2-0 to the Italians with that Czech lad (Vidra) scoring both
Winning against Blackpool was massive. I don't expect anything out of the Watford game so if we do manage to squeeze a point out of it that'll be a bonus: a defeat on Tuesday and a win at Huddersfield would be an excellent week's work.
The state of Huddersfield's pitch is nothing short of a disgrace! Ploughed field doesn't come into it! Surely the Egg Chasers should not be allowed to ground share with the football team.
We're a funny bunch, like the division, can beat anyone, and lose to anyone (stating the obvious i know) - I have a sneeky feeling we'll do them. Just like London buses, you wait ten years for one, then two come along at once. I think we tend to do well against "footballing" teams...it's the teams who are quick and pacey that we struggle against. Watford are a good team, but typical italian from what i've seen, i.e, they like to pass it around and keep the ball - If we can get N'dubz and Hyam to get stuck into them from the orf, i don't think the'll like it. I have faith, and i'm confident we'll get something out of the game.
Almunia is a real flapper under the high ball and I reckon we will get plenty of joy from set pieces so long as the delivery is right!
I can't see us getting anything against Watford tomorrow they are playing some good football and imo are the best side in the league atm.
We are playing Watford not Barcelona FFS! Just look at how many times in the past when we have played the better football against Watford and ended up losing! A draw at the very least
3-1 massacre by Town. Watford will come to PR thinking they'll have an easy time and find a team fired up after a good result on Saturday. Watford will try showboating about the pitch only to have seven bells of **** kicked out of 'em every time they receive the ball. We will score two before the break, let one in within five minutes of the restart and then score after eighty minutes to cap a dominant display that sends Watford packing with their tales between their legs feeling foolish that they came to PR and tried to give it the big 'un. Or maybe not
I reckon the Tractor Boys will pull off a shocker. I also hope the Tractor Boys pull of a shocker... Do us a favour and keep Watford of our tails? Cheers lads.
1-1 draw. I've read when Watford have a midweek game, Zola OFTEN rotates the side something chronic. JET to make the subs bench?! Chopra to start!?
