I'm still waiting for a +3-0 drubbing of another team so maybe it might well happen tomorrow :)

Well I wanted 3-0 but 1-0 will do!

It was a tough game, but Stevenage looked more crap than us. Town seemed to have more chances but the ref seemed to be ignorant of some of Team Westley standard tactics, i.e falling over and rolling around, and strangling our Eaves and letting go of him as the ball approached (why is this not a something classed as a foul??). A few yellow cards dished out to both teams eventually led to Hall getting two yellows, yet Taylor getting past a player who looked to have fouled him ends up with Taylor being the bad guy and them getting a free kick.

A well worked run from Iorfa ended up with Taylor getting an essential goal. It is a real shame that the teams above us also won their games, but at least the Col U v Tranmere result means that Col U are also pulled back into the mix.

Next two games are so important. I'd probably take 4 points if offered it, but we can win them. Tranmere are crap at home (I think) and we have finally started winning again!

15 points from 14 games under Jackson now. Considering the squad he inherited, the points total he inherited (26 from 27 games), the fixtures we've had (Sheffield United away as they hit form, Brizzle City home as they hit form, Wolves and Swindon away, Walsall away) and the rut we were in (6 straight home defeats - last five of those without scoring; 4 points from the preceding 8 games; 3 straight losses) then I think that's pretty respectable. Over a season, that average would get you about 50 points. We have become more difficult to beat, haven't been thrashed and haven't lost back-to-back games. We've picked up 5 clean sheets, and had our two key midfielders injured. Sure we might go down, but I think he has shown signs that he could be a pretty decent manager.

The way some are talking elsewhere, if we win at Tranmere they think we're safe...

I am considering going up for the game, just trying to sort it with one of my mates
