brentford, league 1 leaders will visit a windswept greenhous meadow on saturday. yes they are top with 62 points and have scored 50 goals, but have conceded 26. they have taken 25 points out of 27 and were last beaten at stevenage in october, 2-1. rw has today announced Jacko is with us until the end of the loan period, and jacko has today signed a winger from posh. if town pack their defence and nick one from a set piece, i predict town may win 1-0. a very windy day town, so keep those crosses coming into Bee's goalmouth! i am looking for a brave performance from town, a draw would be a miracle. Floreat Salopia!!
Having lost against Stevenage perhaps they have a weakness against the bottom teams (I am clutching at straws here). I cannot see us getting anything from this but we need to see a battling performance and some signs from our loanees that they are up for it. I predict 2-0 for the Bees but will be one of the most delighted people in the ground if I am proved wrong.

A much improved performance that should have been a win. What a blatant dive by Judge after minimal contact - it is really poor refereeing to give something like that. As for our new players Fyvie stood out for me - a few misplaced passes but he gets about the pitch and puts his foot in which is part of what we need at the moment. I think Mendez-Laing could be very interesting but, even though it is early days, I was not impressed by Atajic . He looks a technical player and you rather get the impression he thinks he is much better than this level - I am not sure that is what we need at the moment but I hope he proves me wrong and scores a hat-trick next game. With renewed hope I will now book a ticket for the Sheffield Utd game and will be able to tick off another stadium I have not visited before.
a massive point gained and the prospect of more next saturday. if crewe can thump blades, surely we can nick something.
