Come on! Very very happy with this.

First of all, like you say Spanish short-term deal, so what's the risk? If he's gash, cya Darren. If he does the business, sign him up for longer.

He can whip a ball in for fun, pace won't be an issue either. Also can hit them from distance. Perhaps a midfielder who can chip in with a few.

The ONLY thing I'm trying to work out is where Darren is going to fit in. Perhaps wide left?

McCarthy would no way have signed him had there been any fitness doubts.

Ambrose > Wordsworth any day of the week too.

    Welcome back Darren.
Wide left at the expense of Henshall, not sure I want that but a good addition anyway.

In all honesty this HAS to mean the end of Jay Tabb wide left now surely?!

Henshall was quite good at Derby but he has quite some way to go for me. Tabby/Hyam please in the middle for this one unless we're bold and play young Bishop who was different gravy!

Do people think Ambrose can play in the middle in part of a two? Teddy Bishop was awesome at Derby I think he actually could. Bru plain as day cannot and that could be his issue.

" tabb and skuse have been nothing but disappointing "

I'm not a Tabby fan but he's probably been our best player thus far this season!

in all fairness westy i was getting at since their arrival as opposed to this season. i thought when tabb signed it was a good move but imo he hasnt hit the level he'd shown at Reading and thats why in general he's disappointed me.

shows how bad a start to the season is when players like Jay Tabb are being considered amongst the best you have seen. He is nothing other than average at best and ****e most of the time.

Gives him half a chance at Reading when they actually play him cm.

Hopefully his wide left days are done.

Surprised with this one, been in the abyss for a few years and doesn't seem like a very Mick like signing. The boy has talent and if we get it out of him it'll be great but I'm not convinced this will work out but it's low risk
