of towns 3 loanees, wallace has snubbed town and graham is waiting to hear about hurst, presumably gt can do nothing about further loans or purchases until the position of the existing 3 is known. not good news so far as gt was hoping all 3 would extend their loans

sorry, but wildig and wallace arnt setting us a blase, i thought the pair where a waste of time actually, but i will be very dissopointed if hurst were to go back.

if our strikers do not perform on saturday, then gt must get a new lad up front, and loan out 1 or 2. hopefully we may get a mini goalfest on saturday, as long as we go on winning at the fortress and some useful points away, we may be in with a chance of the play offs.

22 games left

12 at home 30 points required
10 away 15 points would be nice.

i do not know when we are playing away at swindon, but if it is towards the end of the season, town need things sewn up before then. floreat salopia

I do not agree with Lenny. Hurst is real class and much better at full back than Grandison (who I think will be our first choice centre half next year) - it is very important we keep him for the rest of the season.

I agree that Hurst is excellent, but I think Grandison has been excellent this season - not as good as Hurst but good nonetheless - and what I was trying to say is that losing Hurst now isn't as bad as it would have been, say, a month ago, when we had no Grandison and no Hazell.

right the time has come for gt to start loaning in and out, pdq, fs, coys, bots, aab, ctrapab. sort it graham please. i do hope our 5 up front start playing football again soon. and we are 1 international down

Lenny,
I take your point about Hurst and Grandison - I am surprised at Hurst choosing Chesterfield over us as he is going into a struggling side there and may not enjoy his football so much. There is a rumour we are after Richard Smallwood of Middlesborough on loan - a 21 year old holding midfielder.
