Too much like Scotland. Thank god this is in the Mirror as it's bound to be rubbish! http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/tra...Cardiff-Ipswich-interested-article891637.html
good player... ...five years ago. wasn't he on loan with you before? why didn't you sign him? he's had a good career
Not a player, who if a club are serious of promotion, is going to be much of an asset. far too inconsistent, and not a good enough all round game.
Superman, yes he was here before, Im pretty sure we couldnt find the cash to sign him as it was back in the days of Royle when we were skint. Could he be termed 'target man' ? We need someone with a bit of size about them. Ideally want someone younger and (I would imagine) cheaper. Possibly not the worst signing around but I think we could do better.
I remember him getting sent off against Crystal Palace in only his 3rd loan appearance! He didn't st the world alight last time did he?
So much for building for the future! sometimes its a blessing to have cleggy to **** up transfer deals.
Havent heard the coppinger rumour again but doesnt sound a terrible idea. I take it Donny will be wanting to get players of the wage bill and we might be able to do a good value deal for once.
Decent player but don't really need him I think if Scotland signs. I'd much rather see us go for someone like Bothroyd. I think we need at least 1 more striker even if Scotland signs, definitely a target man and possibly someone with a bit of pace just incase Chopra gets injured!!
Aren't you contradicting yourself there a little bit! You say we don't need Fuller but then go onto say that we need someone like Bothroyd! I would have Fuller over Bothroyd any day. Bothroyd is the laziest player I have seen and his goal output is nothing to write home about.
Not really condraticting myself. I think Fuller would replace scotland if he came in whereas IMO Bothroyd is a better player and would most likely be in our first team. Plus he and Chopra formed a good partnership at Cardiff!!
" Too much like Scotland. " He's nothing like him ! Scotland = strength / hold up play etc, whereas Fuller still has a good amount of pace. Completely different. In all honesty, he'd be a great squad player. Wages would be the issue. This season he hasn't done as well, but prior to this, he had a very decent goal record for Stoke in the premiership. 2 goals in 3 games last time around is hardly a disaster. I do wish people would do some sort of homework before being negative! I'd be for the signing. Chopra appears great then cold. Fuller would at worst be great coming off the bench, and would be a better partner for either Chopra or Scotland - who I'm not a fan of together. For me, it's one or the other.
I don't think we should be looking to buy SQUAD players we need to bring in a few first team regulars.....imo
