It might be that with Woodgate going there Pulis might let him go. It's a long shot but not beyond the realms of possibility if we come up with the right money. Don't fancy our chances but it's a mouth-watering prospect. Jewell said himself that he has pursued lots of CBs so it might just be a purely speculative offer on Town's part.

I mentioned Kyle Bartley about a week ago to responses of tumbleweed. Looked decent in a very shambolic Sheff Utd. team last season so would be a cracking back up to Ivar or even a Centre back partner.
I think we need a bit of experience rather than a youngster given that we may have Cresswell and the Slovenian lad at full back. Collins has won two promotions with Sunderland so he knows the drill.
Not sure what I make of the whole " experience " thing. There's tonnes of players who have made a career out of having " experience " Take Darren O'dea, he had champions league experience yet he was horrific.
