If he does sign, i think that'll probably be it for signings. With only McGlass, Sears and Garner up top, i think Celina will be pushed further forward and play more of a 4-1-1 (like last season with Lawrence, who wasn't really either a winger or forward).

Not too sure about Bunn, from the little i've seen of him, he's hard working and a grafter - won;t set the league alight, but will do a steady job (sounds unlike Mick LOL)

I agree about Wells, wouldv'e been a quality signing

He's apparently more a winger Warky so will be in theory vying with Celina for LM, with Rowe/ Ward battling right wing I think. Could be wrong.

#9 shirt is vacant, we'll have another striker in yet.

Exactly.. (if he signs) He'll be a great option out wide for us in a 442 or a 433 as we only have Ward, Rowe, Celina who can naturally play there..

I expect we'll be signing another striker as well (probably on loan) before the window shuts, most likely some youngster from a Prem club we've never heard of but I notice Same Gallagher is still at Saints and looked decent for Blackburn last season.. He should be the kind of striker we bring in on loan if we do go down that route.

Another winger/wide player (Bunn) and a striker and I think it'll be a decent window for us and we'll be in good shape for the season if we don't suffer injury or illness epidemics

Yeah, the main reason he wanted to move was for a new challenge-we could certainly provide him with that!!Nothing to do with the money apparently!

Yeah its a lot of money to pay for a player who wouldn't be guaranteed a place in our starting line up every week.

Marquis prefers to stay at 3rd division Donny and Bunn leaves Prem Club Huddersfield and goes to Bury rather than us, somebody open a window and let the smell of bullshit out.
Echoes of last seasons so called transfer targets, nothing changes.

I do love how everyone all of a sudden jumps to a conclusion that we lost out on Bunn and Marquis. If the club genuinely wanted to go for them, then surely we would probably would've signed them.
They're both average players and one has only had one good season in division four.
I'm content with the players we've brought in, but still need that elusive 20 goal striker to finish our business off
