No, I'm not looking for DT. But the Tour has thrown up some excellent odds on decent contenders. I've put a tenner each way (1st 3) on Frank Schleck at 40/1. Wiggins is silly odds and unbackable and I don't think he'll win it anyway, Evans is a proven winner and should be favourite but Schleck finished 3rd last year and is in a decent team and it's often horses for courses in Le Tour...

Frank rides for his brother Andy. Probably why his odds are so long. Worth a punt though.

With Andy out injured he'll never have a better chance. I can't believe the hype Wiggins is getting, he's lost it in the mountains previously and that's not a weakness that usually wins. We haven't seen even money on a favourite since Armstrong's days...

Forgive my ignorance, but isn't this sport about who has access to the best drugs?

I genuinely don't know anything about it other than it looks like one of the most punishing sports there is, and it has always been surrounded with doping issues, which is not surprising when they put themselves through such crap.

Cadel Evans a good bet. Wiggins is all talk and folds easily

I'm not convinced by the Sky team setup either

Only 2/1 in a 198 man field and second favourite, admittedly only ten at most have a chance but the bookies are taking the piss...

Admittedly wiggins looks more focused and in the zone but I don't buy his hype

I like the schleck boys, real grinders

Contador banned. Andy Schlek out and an aging Evans, that would have retired had he not won last year. It's not a dream line up. I'm not a Wiggins fan, but why not?

Would be wonderful to have 2 Brits on the podium in Paris. The French would love that.

How about that sprint stage today??..fab stuff and after dropping 8lbs,he still got that finish spot on. How he knew to pick up the back wheel of the guy that came second,as he sat in his slipstream(into a head wind!)....Then WHAM,the missile does him on the line!. Bradley has got one thing going against him...hes english and I hate to say it,but hes just got a bit of a loser face and he has got the most pathetic, skiny, bony legs ever!;)You just know hes gonna fall off at some point. Cadel for me.It could come down to the time trial at the end and the Schleck brothers are pony at it and Cadel is the master!.

I fancy Wiggins in the itt. He'll do Cadel. Evans has to beat him in the mountains. Cliche I know, but he can't leave it to the penultimate leg. Wiggins is just too good a time trialer.

I've stopped doubting Cav. He's the best sprinter ever. Although he praises his team mates the truth is, he has the know how to do it himself, as he proved the year Renshaw was sent home. He'll catch a wheel and has the power to go around the train. Sky are all about the Wiggins, so he'll have to do it himself in weeks 2 & 3
