TOUR BLOG: PART V Posted on: Sat 30 Jul 2011 The last 24 hours or so have flown by in Italy, as the focus now firmly switches to today's final fixture of the tour. After a rest day on Thursday, the lads were back in training on Friday morning, with shape and formation yet again at the forefront of First Team Coach Keith Curle's 90 minute session. Danny Webber was joined on the sidelines by Heidar Helguson, whose minor knock is expected to rule him out of the 'Trofeo Bartolotti' tonight. Article continues Advertisement One thing that really struck home at training yesterday was the remarkable team spirit that is currently sweeping through the camp. Mick Jones touched on it in his blog on Friday and it really is something to behold. I've been at the Club for over five years now and I can honestly say that prior to the arrival of Neil Warnock as Manager, cliques were a constant theme in the Rangers dressing room. Those days are well and truly over now though, with the entire squad mixing together on a regular basis, whether it's at dinner, by the pool or during their free-time. As a result, it's a really positive camp to be in and around and that team spirit will, needless to say, play a major role in our Barclays Premier League campaign which starts two weeks today. It's a short blog entry today, because we're off on the road this morning for our trip to Atalanta, where we'll be providing pre and post match updates throughout the night, so stay tuned!
